1966 MUSTANG COUPE RACE CAR


Description:
This Cobra Automotive prepared Mustang has been set up to compete in various forms of vintage racing. It retains an official Cobra Automotive Competition VIN tag of car #18.(see fender tag) It is currently set up to participate in many race venues such as SVRA, HSR, SCCA, FIA and most domestic or International type of racing events. It features a functional headlight system so even nighttime Enduro competition can be a possibility. Essentially a new car that was finished recently and only has one open track test session on it.

1966 SHELBY GT350
VINTAGE RACE CAR

Original Red 4 speed 1966 Shelby vintage racecar. Purchased new by Don Nesbitt of Salisbury, N.C. and restored in the 1980’s .Converted for vintage racing over a period of time in the late 80’s  and early 90’s .This car has raced with  SVRA, HSR, SCCA, VSCDA, VSCCA , and SAAC. Going through a transformation period with Cobra Automotive during the 90’s to become a well sorted competitive car. Competing heavily during this period of time with many race organizations this Shelby was then passed on to the 2nd owner who continued to enjoy racing . Car retains a Cobra Automotive competition car VIN plate with serial number 004 being one of the first cars built by Cobra Automotive. Then we acquired this car back in 2005 to vintage race . Raced 3 times this year including by factory R-model driver and Trans Am legend Tom Yeager at Watkins Glen June 2005. Still titled in the original owners name and ready for its next owner to enjoy. Vintage SCCA logbook # 031-901

Vintage legal 289 approx 425HP.
Motorsport block w/billet main caps, JE pistons, Crower rods, 351 W heads ,roller cam ,ARP studs ,Aviaid oil pan, MSD ignition, Blueprinted Holley carb ,Billet March pulleys, Hooker headers, R-model oil cooler  

This Shelby is an excellent entry level vintage race car. A well sorted car that has competed this year at Road America, Watkins Glen and California Speedway. Reliable and user friendly.

1970 CAMARO Z28 TRANS AM CAR

This is a 1970 Canadian Z28
Camaro built by John Todds – Todco Racing and raced in the 1971 - 1972 Trans Am Series. It ran under Todco Racing and Sunoco of Canada during these races. It was owned by Don Duncan and driven by Dick Brown. This car has also run in the IMSA races under Jack Deren with Kenper Miller and Paul Miller as drivers.
